The Country Park was developed in the early 1970’s to provide an environment to interpret the famous Battle of Bosworth.
The network of paths enable visitors to enjoy this beautiful, rural area on foot. The Battlefield Trail which starts from the Battlefield Heritage Centre is approximately 1.75 miles and takes a maximum of two hours to complete. Go to the Battlefield Trail for more information.
The Public Bridleway running through the Park to Shenton Station allows access for horse riders and cyclists. Please note this is steep in places
The Country Park has four car parks all with footpath links to the Battlefield Centre.
Season tickets are available which cover the Battlefield, Shenton Station and all other chargeable car parks in Leicestershire County Council's Country Parks. Go to the Season Ticket page for more information.
