Access
Access around the Heritage Centre is suitable for wheelchair users. Access around the Battlefield Trail and Country Park may be difficult for some people. If you need more information please contact us for further advice.

Risk assessment
A full site risk assessment of activities to be undertaken at Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park will be sent to your school/organisation prior to your visit. Your school/organisation must undertake your own risk assessment based on individual students undertaking the activities identified in the ‘site’ risk assessment.

First Aid
A site first aid risk assessment has been completed which includes provision for visitors to the site. However, due to the nature of the site, schools and groups are required to bring their own first aider and relevant equipment with them. The site first aid point is in the Heritage Centre Office which is located in the courtyard.

Fire and evacuation
A full fire risk assessment has been completed for the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre. The fire exit doors from the exhibition and shop and the fire assembly point beside the ticket machine in the car park are clearly marked on site.

Prices
Visits to the Country Park for unaccompanied walks are free for students. Please refer to our booking form for additional activities and prices.

Pre-visits
We encourage all teachers to make a free familiarisation visit to the site, either with colleagues or with your family (maximum of 2 adults and 2 children). There is no need to pre-book, just bring along proof of your school or organisation ID to the main Ticket Office. If you would like to speak to a member of staff as part of your pre-visit please telephone 01455 290429 in advance to arrange a convenient time.

At Donington your group will meet costumed interpreters who will explain their life and work inside the Tudor house as your students take part in a variety of hands on activities.

We are able to organise the visit for you. Please telephone for further details.
